butter beans - need skinning?

Do I need to take the skins off butter beans for a 7 month old?

I wouldnt have thought so - arent the skins really soft anyway?

i didn't and she spat every one out

so next time I did

I've found when cooked that the skins come away from the beans anyway -- DS spits the skins out too so I pick most of them out.

how did you cook them / serve them mrs badger?
