22-week-old DTs cluster feeding from 6.30pm-12.30am and driving me mad

My twins are 22 weeks old (23 on Tue) and have been sleeping through the night from 8/9pm to 7/8am since they were about 14 weeks old.

But in the last three or four days they have been very difficult to get off to sleep in the evenings, they feed at 6.30pm, go down at 7pm for about an hour, wake up for food then refuse to settle. They go back to sleep for about 5/10 minutes before waking up and crying for food again. This carried on until 12.30am the last two nights with DD. DS seems more settled but even he has increased his feeds in the evenings.

They are fully breastfed.

I really wanted to hold off on weaning until 6 months (they were 3+2 weeks prem as well) but it seems to me they are hungry - it is like they have regressed to being three weeks old again. I keep telling myself I didn't resort to formula then and I shouldn't resort to giving solids early now, but am I right? I know I am lucky that they sleep through till 8am after all that cluster feeding but it is exhausting me esp as it is one then the other all evening for six hours.

DD has increased her feeds during the day too - it seems every time I pick her up she is arching her back looking to nurse.
She is the smaller of the two, still only 11lb2oz, but she is showing more signs than DS (12lb8oz)
