Apologetic question about poo

a prime candidate for the 'unappealing threads', I know, but wd welcome your thoughts.
We've started giving 6.5mo DS little tastes of solids over the last few days. He had some of our (unseasoned) spinach soup. This morning there are STILL bits of spinach in his poo - 3 days later. Similarly, bits of undigested banana on another day.
Is this normal or should I wait a bit longer do you think?

Don't worry, your thread is not as unappealing as you may think, and your DS is completely normal.

My DD will be 2 years old next month and I still find quite a lot of undigested food in her nappies.

Certainly for the first few months of solids it is perfectly normal for the vast majority of foods to pass through almost completely undigested.

You can enjoy seeing how much of everything he actually ate and how long it takes to go through!

Like playing literal poo-sticks
