remind me - does bf dd need water now that she's started weaning?

can't remember from ds. She still has 5 or 6 (if she fancies a midnight snack) bf a day.

a little with her meal might be a good start - doesn't really need it at other times though.

If she is starting to drop feeds then yes, otherwise probably not

I offered DS a cup with food around this age, but he didn't take much until around 9/10 months. More to get him used to the cup than anything else really - they don't need extra if still bf on demand.

ds2 age 7 months, also bf, seems to quite like having a cup of water with his meal and takes the odd sip, though most of it gets chucked around and played with on the highchair tray.

i always have a drink of water with my food, so i have always offered my kids water. its a good introduction to sippy cups.
