Did anyone sieve purees when they first started weaning? The Fresh Daisy Cookbook recommends that most purees are sieved or put through a mouli (I don't currently have either) whereas my other book doesn't mention sieving. Most veg seems OK without sieving but I've cooked peas, which still have the odd bit of skin after blending, and runner beans, which I removed the sides from, but which are still fibrous. Any advice gratefully received thanks!
