How pureed should first food be?

Are we talking totally runny or smooth and paste-like? Have made a load of veg purees and not sure if I have the consistency right? Are teeny tiny bits in it OK? Or am I asking for trouble?

I would put it on some pizza and eat it yourself

then wait till your lo is 6 months and give them what you eat and stand back

try this

It doesn't matter. Whatever you want. Smooth, lumpy, totally unpureed brocolli floret.

If you are pureeing though, don't make it really runny by adding lotsd of liquid. It is food after all that you are aiming to get the baby interested in, not liquid.
