constipation solutions for BLW

my DS was until recently a very good eater and would accept a spoon as well as finger food.

We are having a bit of a teething nightmare atm with 4 top teeth coming in at once and very disrupted sleep.

DS will no longer take a spoon but will self feed. only now the problem is constipation and you can see the strain in his face when he tries to pass a stool.

I am giving him loads of water and milk but need ideas for food i can give or make that he will eat himself that are high in fibre and help him move things along.

do they have any preservative on them? DS has a bit of a strange wheeze from time to time that i am concerned about so I don't want to give him anything that could trigger and ashtma attack when he is so little
