For first attempts at weaning, can I mix with full-fat cows milk?

if your lo is 6 months then yes you can use full fat cows milk.

i thought it would be best to use breast or formula milk?

you can use breast/formula milk if you like but from 6 months it is also ok to use small amounts of full fat cows milk.

i use rice milk for DS's porridge. He loves it.

thanks ladies. DS is 6 months next week so will be starting then. I am aiming to express so can use breast milk also, but thought i had read somewhere can use cows milk too.
