Have found a pack of 'chicken in the sea' in the cupboard - skinless boneless cooked salmon. Have some potatoes in there too and some brocolli and spring onions in the fridge. AM thinking of making fishcakes as finger food for 8mth old DS - can I put those veg in|?

yes of course, although you might want to precook thm and blend a bit before addign ot fish and potato.

cool - would I then still be ok to freeze them and reheat later too if I made a batch of them?

don't see why not as long as fish is cooked through

Holymoly321 · 21/07/2008 17:34

thanks L - the fish is already cooked in the packet so it should be ok?

Just check it can be frozen.(should say on packet if not)

Hi L - have looked at the packet - it doesn't say if it can be frozen or not, but there is a recipe for salmon cakes on the back of the packet - so what do you reckon?

It normally says if you cannot freeze or if has been previously frozen(don't refreeze in same state) so think it should be ok.

thanks L
