Chicken stock cube - bad for 9mo?

DH made a fab shepherds pie today, and ds loved it, hoovering it up. I commented on how great it tasted without seasoning, stock, etc and DH said - "yeah, just one chicken stock cube". I have three portions in the freezer for the rest of the week - but should I give them to ds?
bear in mind it was a huge sheperds pie, 2 tomato tins, 2 packs of mince, loads of veg, and water......mixed with one little cube

I wouldn't worry about it, assuming there was no salt in the rest of it.

I would think it would be fine. Can you really keep it in the fridge that long though? I usually do 24hours max...but I might be wrong. I usually freeze the spare portions

I wouldn't worry, but might consider laying in lower-salt stock for next time. We use the Knorr liquid stocks which are way less salty than cubes.

no need to skimp non-salt seasoning though - dd (11m) loves garlic, pepper, herbs etc
