I have just witnessed ds eat risotto with his hands - he refused it on a spoon so when I let him dig in he finished the lot! He had a face like a man possessed as he did it - now I am spending Saturday evening cleaning up the carnage

9mo tomorrow - he has been a fussy liite fella for a while but I have let him feed himself more and more and it seems to do the trick. And more importantly he LOVES it

How fab - any photos. Did you have to hose him down afterwards?

ds (15m) was feeding himself pasta tonight - holding each one up, tipping his head back and slurping it in, going, "mmmmm". Dh and I staring - where did he get that from?!

Blooming camera battery was dead! H did go straight in the bath, giggling as I had to scrape rice from every orifice (tmi, I'm sure!)
