Is it okay to give my 10mo tinned fruit. Obv the stuff in juice not syrup.

don't see why not. Occasionally some nutrients are lost in canning process but I don't think it would harm.

I am only guessing though

It should be fine. It's heated up before being put in the tin. Just remember it will have a higher sugar content then normal fruit, look at the label, anything that ends in -ose is sugar.

It did seem high in sugar, that was my concern. I just hate peeling and steaming fruit

I'm sure as a now and again thing it should be ok.

I used to work in a private day nursery. They fed the babies tinned fruit every day. I dont think they ever told the parents that it was tinned though!!! They would put in their diaries that they sate peaches/apples/pear/fruit salad or whatever but never mentioned that it was tinned!
