My baby has no appetite

Hi, I posted on here last week as I was worried my baby had gone off milk since I started weaning him, however, it's now gotten worse in that he no longer seems interested in milk or solids. He's always been tiny (0.4 centile) and was, before this lack of appetite, taking approx 25oz of formula a day, plus a small amount of pureed fruit and veg in the morning and evening. Over the past few weeks, his milk intake has dropped to around 16oz a day, and whilst I've introduced a lunchtime solids feed (he's now 6 months), he doesn't seem particularly interested in solids either. Before, he seemed to enjoy solids and would often take it after refusing milk, but now he rarely opens his mouth and doesn't seem at all bothered. As an experiment yesterday, I offered him his early morning milk feed (of which he took 3oz) and then decided to wait until he asked for more, and he didn't! It got to 2.30pm, at which point I offered him more milk and he took 2oz! I'm getting increasing worried and frustrated, not least because he's lost weight the last 2 times I've had him weighed. I just don't know what to do? Has anyone else come across anything like this? Any advice would be much appreciated, Tina

my dc1 started refusing milk at about 4-6mths and the hv weren't concerned at all. He would eat solids but not huge quantities at that age. He was 9th centile.

my dc2 wouldn't eat any solids till she was 8mths, she now has a great appetite but is only on 2nd centile at 2yo.

I would speak to your HV but wouldn't be too worried at this stage.
