can an 8 month old have raspberries?

strawberries and raspberries are both ok - there may be a slight chance of an allergic reaction to either of them. From babycentre website:

Strawberries and raspberries

Seed fruits can occasionally cause an allergic reaction in children. Wait until your baby is six months before giving them. Allergic reactions to these types of fruit and vegetables are usually mild, and often just affect the mouth, causing some itching or a rash where the food touches the lips and mouth. seem to remember (from having ds1 nearly 8 years ago!) than strawberries were a no no, something to do with allergies i think.
