Hi I am following CB routine. (which I know is contraversial for some) In the last 3wks or so I got to the point where I introduced chicken or lentils at lunch time. Since then things seem to have gone wrong for us. The book says that once established on 3 feeds aday and protein then a milk feed should be dropped at lunch. when i have tried this my baby seems to wake at 5am hungry. As soon a I do a split feed then we seem to get back on track. The answer seems quite obvious when I write in down however am i correct in doing this, because baby is not increasing her 2:30 feed and then is hungry at 5pm or am i getting stressed over nothing and baby will drop it when she is ready.

I think I would leave things as they are as they obviously work for you and your lo. You can always try again in a few weeks and see if it works then

thanks, have just gone with the flow today and she still did not want much at 2:30 but wanted a little bit more at 4 so gave, seems hapy at the mo, eaten all her food so I am going to attempt a breast feed in a mo and see how that pans out. thanks for your help.
