can someone define "seasoning" for me?

I am interested in BLW, but lots of what I read says give them your food, "without any seasoning". What does seasoning mean, exactly? For me that's just salt/pepper, and I'm guessing hot chilli probably wouldn't be a baby favourite, but what about other spices/herbs/garlic? We tend to eat quite strong flavours, and whilst BLW sounds great because we could all share the same food, it wouldn't be much fun if the food had to be super bland in order to be shared!

My babies have all had plenty of garlic, herbs and non hot spices (and frankly, I never worried overmuch about a bit of salt and pepper either if I was in a cafe or whatever).

I think it's just salt you really need to worry about, the more flavours they taste at a young age can only help them to be less fussy as they get older surely?
