White or brown bread?

What sort of bread should I be giving 10mo DS. We usually have soya & linseed bread which I started him with, but all the seeds and bits were coming through in his nappies so thought this may be a bit too much roughage for him. Then switched to giving him white bread, but now not sure if that is too processed!

Help!

Ive always given my DS wholemeal and sometimes I make my own bread with linseeds in and hes always been fine. Sometimes if he has a sandwich out and its white, hs not keen and wont eat it.

advice is to avoid too much bran as it fills them up too quickly and prevents absorption of some vitamins.

depends how much you're internding to give though. if its not much neither will really matter.

Erm...sweetcorn comes out whole too, i don't think that's a problem.
We vary between wholemeal and best of both/ 50-50 versions as we have them both in the house due to the rest of the family being fussy!

both mine were weaned on that soya and linseed stuff, though if we have a baguette, the end is good for a babe to gnaw on....

DS had white until he was about 15 months but not much as he's not keen on bread but he now happily eats whatever I eat.

watch out for the seeds in his nappy though....!
