been reading threads on here with everyone saying no way do not wean til 6 months (this was not so when I weaned DS) what is supposed to be so wrong with it and have I harmed my DS beyond repair!

How old is your DS? Babies can cope with solids some time after 4 months and at some point before 6 months. So they say to wait until 6 months because there's no way of knowing when your baby would be ready for it. Does that make sense? I think I've explained it really badly! I'm sure he's fine - I'd try to stop worrying about it because there's nothing you can do about it now anyway.
