Weaned from breastfeeding, very anxious

So I weaned cold turkey from breastfeeding my nearly 18m old in January. Had a bad Jan and early feb with everyone being ill. Mid Feb I started to get really anxious and went to the drs, they’ve done blood tests and now I’ve got low phosphate levels and on medication to get it back up. Anyone else experienced this as I’m really struggling mentally with the load of being a working mum, dealing with anxiety which seems so much worse in the mornings.

Are you suggesting these two things are connected? I don’t think they are. Do you have a partner? Can they take over in the morning? Has your doctor prescribed anything for your anxiety?

Unlike PP I’m sure I’ve read that the loss of breastfeeding hormones can impact mood. Maybe do some googling or hope someone more knowledgable than me will be along.

I am struggling with anxiety myself at the moment which I think is menopause related. And had PND which was anxiety based after the births of my children. So I definitely think women’s hormones can play a big part. Although being a working mum with a young child definitely brings pressures too.

Hope you’re feeling better soon.

The anxiety is linked to the low phosphate levels, I’m showing all symptoms of that. I don’t know if it’s linked to the stopping breastfeeding but it’s the only major thing in my life recently that’s occurred. Yes my partner is great and I’m getting help, I was just reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced the same. Not been prescribed anything yet for the anxiety but I have for the low phosphate so assuming they’re waiting to see if that helps.
