Water intake / cup recommendations

My son is now almost 7 months old and trying to get him to take even a sip or two of water is a struggle.

He takes his bottles and eats bits of food like a trooper but just doesn't really want to try and take any water.

We have tried a small variety of free flow cups - one with a spout, the little tommee tippee beaker, a nuby valve beaker etc. Ones with handles and also without. Is it worth getting a training bottle? I have seen the MAM ones with a teat and wondered if this would help him although I am aware the guidance is to try to get them onto free flow/ valve free and promote sipping rather than sucking on a teat!

I am just concerned as the solids increase he may become constipated.

Recommendations welcome!

I wouldn’t bother really. At 7 months he’ll be getting plenty of fluids from his milk. Just keep making sure the water is available wheb he eats. Once his bottles start to decrease and it gets warmer here in the UK (eventually), he will show more interest Smile
