We did, she had toast soliders, but she didn't really eat loads.

StealthPolarBear · 11/06/2008 18:01

Yes I did but used salt free butter
I think it's best to avoid adding salt whee you can

littleboyblue · 11/06/2008 18:02

I started giving ds toast at 6 months. He doesn't like it though but loves naan.
I don't even check salt content for stuff like that. Or anything really. I know they can't have much but most food I give him is designed for babies his age, so other stuff I just ignore coz he won't be having LOADS of it.
I'm very naughty and just telling you what I do, not telling you what to do

thank you - you're right, she wouldn't eat much, so i'll just give her some. everything else she has is salt free
