Surely toy r us shouldn't say this?

I've just had a promo leaflet from Toys 'r' us with highchairs in it.

The caption next to the high chairs says

"The Department of Health advises parents to begin weaning at six months (good so far, covering their arses though it seems) but speak to your health visitor if you have any concerns. (K, best advice they can give I suppose) Some babies may seem ready sooner but four months is the earliest. (yes, earliest they could possibly be ready but you will not be able to tell).

I'm so shocked!
How many people could read that and think there is no point asking the HV and starting at four months???

Well, I've emailed them but could only find the enquiry form on their site, no email address.

i began weaning both of mine at 12 weeks and they both were fine, only on rice, as they went of milk and it was the easiest way to get it into them

Is the same on the half aisle of baby foods they have in all the supermarkets looking so inviting to excited parents...madness.
