BLW and not sitting upright unaided

my ds is six months and I really can't be bothered with all the puree stuff I did with my dd. The thing is that he is not sitting unaided so I have had him on my lap. He has no teeth, but loves toast. Should I be holding back if he can't sit on his own, or can we carry on with him on my lap?

If he can pick things up and seems to be coping alright with the toast then I would go ahead. Do you have a highchair? Some of them give good support. I don't think dd was sitting on her own at 6mths but we have a prima pappa highchair and she could sit in that no problem.

Sure an expert will be along shortly!
