Packed lunch for 9 month old

I have just had a message to say that nursery will no longer provide meals and that all children need a packed lunch. I have a little flask and was thinking of batch cooking some meals like Spag Bol, Dahl, chilli. I’m a bit stuck for other ideas so would love to hear any ideas or recipes anyone else has. He’s not great with finger foods to be honest and he has a milk allergy.

Also does anyone have. A recommendation for a cup or bottle that won’t spill on his backpack? Thanks

OP google “yummytoddlerfood”. She has fab ideas for young kids, I have been using them for DS since he was a baby.

That sounds very difficult @Gdrenf32. How come they’re not providing food? I take it it’s a cost saving move?

They are saying that they can no longer cater to allergies. They used to charge a consumables fee for lunch and nappies but you didn’t have to pay it if you provided your own. Now they have stopped providing lunch and are charging everybody a consumables fee.

That sounds opt but I suppose you are limited in the choices of where you can send him. And no sorry, I don’t know about the 360 cup.

The thermos food flask doesn't leak
Can't remember about thec360 cup. It wasn't very durable.

Or just send a pre made meal tbh. Shop bought.
