Weaning 3 months

had a message of our baby’s farther saying he’s been feeding our baby at 3 months old. I never agreed to this but apparently this was told by the health visitor as he’s on the 99th centile for his weigh but I don’t know wether this is true or not cause I haven’t been told anything. I’m utterly gutted and ashamed I was never asked as I don’t agree with him being fed this early. Has anyone heard of a baby being fed this early.

Why has he been engaging with the health visitor?

If I was you I would talk to the health visitor and see what they say.

Agree with above, I imagine an older person advised him to wean to get baby to ‘sleep better’ (trust me , that’s utter horse shit) as previous generations weaned early. There is no way a health visitor in 2025 would advise to wean at 3 months, phone her yourself to check if that’s what she said and when HV inevitably says NO then you can tell baby’s father (and his family)

He’s with his dad Friday- Sunday. I’m not sure why no ones been in touch with me. Just doesn’t seem right to me.

Take your dc to the GP. Have it on record your ex is going against guidelines...
Is there a court order in place?
He isn't acting in the best interests of your dc. Let a judge decide his contact arrangements..
