my baby boy is one in a few days!
although that's a whole other emotion...

he's weaning journey has been fabulous- the boy can eat.
he loves food... all food.
not very successful with a spoon yet but that's all in due course.

he still only had 4 teeth - 2 top 2 bottom.

basically what I'm wondering is once he's one he can pretty much eat what the rest of the family is eating? obviously cut up to his size but from my understanding he is not as limited?

no saying I'm gonna order the boy a large domino's. but he could have a plain chesse n tomato pizza? or homemade nuggets? are these all things he can have?! with homemade chips?

I've checked out some Annabela Karmella but he's pretty much had every recipe

any suggestions on what he can have or can't or what your kid loved PLEASE !

He can have pretty much anything (and our DC both did from 6 months, just cooked without adding salt and seasoned our own at the table) but I'd still avoid using too much salt.

It was only when my child began taking food from my plate that I even gave her solids. Then I would just include her in meals. I think there's a lot of overthinking when it comes to weaning and babies in general.

Aw my little boy was exactly the same - my god he loved (and still loves) his food! By one (and probably a few months before that as well tbh), he was eating everything we were, I never made him anything spicy but he loved things with different seasonings and I always just tried to avoid adding salt to his portions. Other than that we just gave him what we had as he would’ve tried to steal ours if we hadn’t 😂 he’s 20 months now and still an absolute foodie, it’s an absolute joy taking him out to eat and to restaurants!

my boy was SO grumpy n miserable at 5months turned out he was just Hungary as soon as he was eating he was happy again breast fed on demand till bout month ago [just before 11months] decided he didn't want milk anymore. still has a feed before bed. in a bottle now tho. sometimes drinks it all sometimes not.
I did mention it midwifes but they wasn't concerned.
