how long will sweet pot puree last in fridge?

have just made some and wondered if I need to put all of it in the freezer

I leave no longer than 2 days - if it's not going to be eaten by the end of day 2 - then in the freezer it goes.

BTW I do not have any formal culinary training.

I agree with Medow about 2 days - I think officially things are supposed to be frozen on the day they're made/bought - but I've often frozen later.

My baby recipe books say most things can be in fridge for 24 hours or should be cooled quickly then frozen asap. Depends what you think is overkill really. Sure if you tasted it first, you'd know if it'd gone bad
