Ds2 7.5m won't eat solids

He just doesn't seem to be interested. I've tried everything that I can for his age - fruit, veg, pureed meals, mashed meals and even jars. He'll try a bit but then refuses.

Anyone with words of wisdom please?

have you tried giving him finger foods? pasta is always a good one, or fingers of toast. DD used to love grated carrot and apple at that age as well as roast butternut squash ans sweet potato.

He is still very young, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep offering him things but not making a fuss if he refuses or doesn't eat much at all. It will click soon enough.

Have a look on www.babyledweaning.com for inspiration

He doesn't put things in his mouth. Not even toys.

I wouldn't worry just yet. Keep him at the table while you eat and make sure you have some "safe" food within his reach for him to try.

Thanks for reassurance. Ds1 loved his food so I was getting a bit worried.
I'll keep offering him stuff.
