First post-weaning poo: how many days???

My ds has just started to eat properly, as opposed to reluctant sips of baby rice. He's eaten three bananas and a pear and no sign of any poo - given the size of him (titchy) and the relative volume of food he's eaten, when should I start to worry that he'll burst? (He's still drinking loads so don't think that's the problem). He's never been very, um, regular and I'm just worried that it's going to be horrific when it does happen. How many days did your small person go without going, iyswim?

My LO has never been very regular either and I have to say that weaning seemed to bung her up even more. After about 5 days I gave her some stewed pureed prunes mixed with apple and that seemed to get things moving. She's been on solids for over 6wks now and she's still not very regular though. Try a bit of prune if you're worried

I think bananas are known for blocking them up.

Thank you missbumpy - and oh damn, hercules1, bananas are really the only thing he loves so far. Time to get the prunes out then...

pureed pears always gets things going with my lo!! think banana is quite hard to digest as a first weaning food
