9 month old refusing to wean

Hi all,

My DD is 9 months, and Ive been trying to wean her since 6 months. I have tried both baby led and purée's, all different types of foods but she just spits it all out and then clamps her mouth shut. She just isn’t interested!

Is this something to be worried about?

So they are definitely not swallowing anything? I used to think my DC2 are very little but the nappies told a different story…Smile

Does your LO also clamp their mouth shot when they have finger foods?

she will sometimes! It’s just very rare. And even with finger foods she just throws them!

Ok so if she’s FF how much is she having? You’re aiming for 13.5 Floz a day by 10 months so if she’s currently drinking much more than that then it’s probably time to drop a bottle and see if it will encourage her appetite Smile

You’re probably right! I will give that a go, thank you!
