Baby and milk feeds

My 8 and a half month old is loving his food! My problem is that during the day he only has a couple of ounces of milk here and there (seems to prefer the food now) i always offer milk first and he wants it but then never has much. This then seems to be causing him to wake multiple times in the night hungry for milk and he will finish 2 or 3 7oz bottles in the night!

Any advice on how to get him to drink the milk in the day and start stopping the night feeds? He has never been a good sleeper and I'm exhausted!

Hi OP. What's your current routine? When i Istarted weaning I offered food an hour after bottle. So say 7am bottle, 8am breakfast, 11am bottle, 12pm lunch, 3pm bottle, 5pm dinner, 7pm bottle. This was at the start, the bottles in the middle tapered off first.

9 months is an awful sleep regression, could it be that?

And how often are you offering solids during the day?
