One word answer please- is baby rice actually just rice flour?

Thanks. Just wondering if I really need to spend 5x the amount on stuff that might have arsenic in it.

Baby rice is often fortified with extra vitamins. tbh you really need to use either .

If your LO is less than six months, don't bother it just fills them up and they can't take anything from it, if your LO is older then don't bother, they can eat anything you do.

I thought it was flaked rice rather than rice flour. Why not just use fruit/veg instead although baby rice is useful for thickening up runny purees.
