i’m ready to stop now. she’s getting so many teeth, it hurts, i have milk blisters, some nights she’s attached ALL night

i’m ready now. she’s had a good 14 months boobin’ so now is the time. but my issue is, if i don’t give her boob she screams until i do. no way in the night would i be able to cope with her screaming the house down. she will settle for other people eg. rocked, shushed, bum pats etc but with me ohhhhh hell no, she knows there’s a boob waiting for her and she’ll scream until she gets it!!

At this stage , she is trying lots of things at mealtime but I would not say they she’s eating real portions . It worries me but i understand it’s a normal feeling to have .

is it really ok then to cut BF and assume her solids will increase to compensate? As i saud today she hardly eats alot

Of course it is. You might want to reduce feeds gradually to give her time to adjust and to reduce your risk of mastitis or you might want to stop completely.

Onde she’s having less milk she will definitely start to eat more. At the moment she probably hasn’t made the connection between hunger and eating solids.
