Moving from breast to bottle… Help!

Hi everyone,

my daughter is nearly 7 months old and I am proud of us for making it this far breast feeding but I need to start weaning her onto a bottle as I go back to work in a month and a half and want to be in a good routine with her, plus I just feel it’s my time to stop.

i’m starting her in advance as it gives me time to actually get her onto a bottle. I have tried over the past couple of weeks (not consistently) but she will just scream when the bottle comes in her mouth. Everyone keeps telling me she won’t starve herself but in my head I’m just thinking ‘but what if she does?’ I need your best tips and tricks to get her to take a bottle. I’ve tried Mam and tommee tippee. Thank you in advance!

Give a cup rather than a bottle. A simple free-flow one is best. Tommee Tippee do one. By the time you go back to work, your baby should be eating well and not needing so much milk anyway.
