I’m looking for recipe suggestions as well as an idea of portion sizes because I’m making her what I think is a lot and she’s crying for more so I’m reaching for pouches or fruit and yogurt as a top up, which is fine but not ideal every day for lunch and dinner! I’ve obviously upped portions but it still doesn’t seem to be enough!

I also feel like I’m repeating meals a lot, is that normal?
I know it’s ‘feed them what you’re eating’ but prior to weaning I ate grilled chicken, rice and veg most days for dinner, and skipped lunch or just had some toast or a sandwich and I snack on fruit or junk food. That obviously doesn’t work for weaning.
Im doing a mix of making her her own meals and trying to eat the same meal but I really don’t like the British classics (shepherds pie, roast dinner, sausage and mash etc) and theres only so much pasta and different sauces I can feed us both.
She really likes curry and stews, but they’re a bit heavy for me every day.

Would love any input because I have no idea what’s normal and I feel like I’m failing at weaning!

Do you have space in your freezer to batch cook her little portions of curry etc so She can still have them when you're not so hungry?
I had three different recipe books for weaning (I like cooking!) What Mummy Makes, How to feed your baby and wean in fifteen and found them helpful.

I found getting information on portion sizes really quite difficult too. Luckily this guide from the Caroline Walker Trust has some really good information including portion sizes and sample menus.

I had to change how we ate mostly too though Flowers
