7month old up multiple times since weaning

Our 6.5 month old who was sleeping through is now up multiple times a night and even feeding a bottle a night since we introduced food 3 weeks ago.
Ive tried not feeding him too late in the day / only giving him lunch, I’ve tried more protein at lunch, I’ve tried giving him lots of food throughout the day (as he is also off his milk) but nothing seems to make the nights better. He is drinking less milk during the day as hard to get him to finish a bottle, but he is still having a lot of milk (as is a big baby 90th percentile). He is a little constipated / texture has changed but still going daily and nothing that has worried me.

I can’t work out if he is crying in pain when he wakes, but he’s not necessarily hungry as wakes an hour after his 7oz bottle.

My older kids never did this and we are all exhausted!

Anyone else had this? Should I stop weaning and roll back to basic root vegetables (I have introduced egg, wheat and potatoes - not meat yet and still fairly basic 1/2 ingredients).

Thanks so much

I've heard this is very common, I've just started weaning so interested in what others say too. Although mine doesn't sleep through the night anyway 😂

I think it's quite common too. There is a growth spurt at 6 months which doesn't help.

I'd try just offering breakfast for a few days so he has plenty of time to digest it before bedtime.

Why do you think he's off his milk? Is he teething?

Have you tried offering supper?

Could be learning to digest the new foods. Could be 6 month frowth spurt?

But since you have introduced allergens have you tried removing the allergens for probably for a week or so , and then introducing them 1 at a time for a week or so to see if there is a correlation?
