Any luck using a cup with EBF baby instead of bottle?

DS is 5 months and not had a bottle since 3 weeks old

going back to work 2 days and tried him with an ounce of expressed milk in a bottle the last couple of days to see how he reacted. He grimaced and couldn’t get the hang of how to use the bottle so nothing really came out

Can I skip straight to sippy cup or open cup? Also how would this work if I was wanting to leave 2 expressed milk feeds for the person caring for him during the day? I have been starting a freezer stash

thank you!

Yep you can definitely skip to a cup. He may still reject it though and just feed like crazy when you get back.

My daughter would never take a bottle but got on very well with a munchkin cup (rubber top which didn't spill). You take them apart to clean, and it is worth having a few if she gets on well. She also coped with drinking from an open cup from about that age, although always with someone holding on tightly!

We also went to a sippy cup from ebf and interestingly once they had got used to that and having formula, they would then happily have a bottle which was easier at night.
