Is formula really THAT much more filling than cows milk.........or has DS3 just discovered his appetite??

We switched to cows milk yesterday afternoon (he'll be 1 in 2 1/2 weeks time) and he's been drinking exactly the same quantity (in fact probably a little more!) of cows as he was of formula.

BUT today he's been eating like he's only just discovered food or something! He ate a similar number of (dry) branflakes as usual, but has had a packet of crisps , a grape, a whole cheese string (again), a biscuit, a whole fish finger, a couple of chips and some left over pizza crust.

OK it's not a particularly great "diet" - and certainly not representative of what I'd usually offer him, BUT it's more than he's probably eaten in an entire week before!

So - has he just "discovered" food (at long last! - no-one can believe he doesn't eat much because of his size LOL), or is it the change from FF to cows???
