what happens the day after their 1st birthday?!!!

the same as happens with breastfed babies after their second birthday. ie not much difference. actually i think they can have unprocessed cows milk rather than formula?

my dd began to just follow my pattern, with milk at morning and night, sometimes a mid morning bottle with a snack. The same meals as me at the same times as me. easy peasey

food goes to goo until they're two?
food's the enemy til they're three?
food is war until they're four?
etc

Well dd was 1 on Friday and most of her food still ends up over her face/in her hair/on the floor/on the highchair than actually in her mouth She still hardly eats any solids compared to a lot of babies her age

DD is finally discovering how fun food is at 13 months - pouring out every single container I put on her tray, wiping it about, splashing... we have great fun! Unfortunately the stains on the carpet are starting to be more persistant!!

Remember though they're one till they're two, eg Tink is 21 months but she's still one.

Nothing changes on their birthday, it's just encouragement to mums of 7/8/9 (etc) month olds who won't eat.

Until they're two they're perfecting the skills.

Oh I happen to be one fo those mums of a 9 month old that wont eat

Seems like a long stretch ahead then!! We keep repeating the mantra until my dh asked what happened afterwards - do we suddenly say 'you don't get pudding unless you eat your greens, eat your crusts etc etc!!'
