I thought I would try some pasta with DS who is about six and a half months. I have bought tiny pasta bits and wanted to do something very simple with tinned tomatoes - any ideas?

puree them?

(put some sugar in as they can be quite sharp)

just a normal pasta sauce? onion, olive oil, slice of bacon and the toms? agree about a wee bit of sugar as well. then whizz and you're away?

you could pop a leaf or two of basil in if you're feeling adventurous! Or a little mild grated cheese......

I cook the pasta in a pan with some mixed frozen veg for about 10 mins. then pour out the water and pour in some tomato soup and cook for another 5 mins

Or very very simple - just grated cheese on the pasta.

When dd was weaning (?!) and once she had been introduced to tomatoes, I used to make tom sauce really quickly and easily like this :

tin toms, some dried onions, basil, sugar.

Cook it all til it's thickened a bit, then whizz it. Then grated cheddar on top. She adored it (won't touch it now though!)
