Weaning at 6 weeks - 24 or 26 weeks, or 6 months as per calendar?

Hello,

I might have made it much more complicated than it is meant to be. But just wondering when does a baby reach 6 months? At 24 weeks, 26 weeks or 6 calendar months after birth?

Or it does not really matter as this is not rocket science.

DD is exclusively breast-fed. Keen to try solid on her but not too sure can I actually start now. She is 24 weeks now.

Thanks!

{first time mum emoticon}.

umm 6 months old is 6months after birth. 24 weeks is 5.5 months.

Yes, did mine as 6 months on calendar, so 26 weeks.

I confess to starting DS at 25 weeks though
