are prawns ok for a 10 month old?

I wouldnt have given them to my dc as I dont like them myself but I would probably say yes they are ok as long as u know they r fresh/ properly cooked etc

my nct guidelines say avoid shellfish till later (sorry not sure when) vbecause of allergy danger

ok thanks ill leave it till later,just making a fish pie for dd, ill stick with salmon, cod and haddock only .

just checked, it says 24 months for shellfish as most likely type of food to cause allergic reaction

Our nutritionist told us prawns were ok from 6 months. DS is 11 months old no and he is fine with them.
