7 month old vomiting with solids

Just wondering if anybody has any experience of this as I’m unsure how to navigate it…
I started weaning my little girl at 6 months. It quickly became obvious that she was struggling with anything baby led and pushed food back out, so I am mostly focusing on purée for now. However, she fully vomits with most meals.

She is very interested in food and seems really excited when we put it in front of her/is desperate to steal our food etc. She wants us to load a spoon for her but then she throws it all straight back up.

has anybody experienced this / any advice on how to move forward? Thank you

Vomits as in swallows the food and then it later comes back up, or is it gag reflex?

Sorry it comes back up while she is eating - so spoon goes in, swallows, vomits. She doesn’t gag though if that makes sense! It doesn’t happen absolutely every time.

Any update on this ? This is happening with my son

Hi - yes, it has completely resolved by itself. We came to the conclusion that she had a very sensitive gag reflex (although we weren’t always seeing her gag). Over time it got better and by 9/10 months she wasn’t being sick at all. We persevered and used teether toys etc to encourage the gag reflex to move back.
hope your little boy is ok. I found it quite stressful at the time but she’s absolutely fine now and eats well!
