Cous-cous for 6.5 month old?

That's it really I started weaning DS at 6 months, and so far he's had a combination of finger foods and spoon foods like porridge/yoghurt etc and seems to enjoy most things. But I was wondering if cous-cous was ok? I was going to make it with a reduced salt veggie stock so that it had a bit of flavour.

TIA

Yes, I gave DD a lot of cous cous. Handy stuff. Just made it with water and stirred some olive oil or sauce into it.

Couscous has been a life saver. Ready in 5 mins. ds still likes it. It does make a mess though

Thanks, I'll try it for lunch today

yes, we have cous cous, usually with roast veg. would love to hear any other cous cous combo ideas...

We make cous cous by soaking in water (so no need for no-salt veggie stick).
Had friends round for supper the other night and made a delicious tagine - dd had leftovers with us the next day.

taboulleh is also good - goes well with burgers, etc. for those bbq days (when they arrive)

nightmare to clean though, if you're doing blw

meant to say "no salt veggie STOCK"
