yank it up
there is a grabby bit undreneath it and then the arms have teeny poky bits that just slot into the chair bit

just yank it up at the front

I've yanked and I've yanked but it ain't budging! It seems like it will snap if I pull any harder...

if you turn it upside down you will see 2 plastic flap bits that hold it on to the front of the highchair. If you prise them open a bit with your hands you can get the tray off. Once you know where the flaps are you can then practice getting the tray off without upending it.

Thanks, Seaona! I am really disappointed as the rest of the highchair is brilliant and I thought I could just whip the tray off and rinse it under the tap instead of faffing about trying to clean it with a sponge.
