My lo was born at 35 weeks weighing 4lb15. She's had a problem with reflux quite early on, she's had an oral assessment done and had a tongue tie cut. She has omeprazole daily and has gaviscon in her bottles. Since around 8 weeks old has been stuck on 4oz bottles as if we try to increase the oz it makes her reflux so much worse, she's now 6 months old and weighs 10lb12 and is below the 0.4th percentile. Our health visitor suggested we wean her early, we've been trying for around a month now. She's so small she looks lost in her high chair, she becomes hysterical after a few spoonfuls of food, she's so upset and irritated after eating and has been brining up the food despite only having a tiny amount. Has anyone else had these issues and found a way around it at all? Feel like I'm at a loss and don't know what else to try.

That does sound so, so difficult. Have they ever found what's giving her reflux? Which milk is she currently on?

They originally thought it could be due to her tongue tie so it was cut, but that didn't make any difference to the reflux only her feeding. She's currently on kendamil. She was having mainly expressed breast milk with occasional top ups of formula for around 3 months. Doesn't seem to have gotten worse or better since being exclusively formula fed
