Reheating frozen baby food

Hi All,

I made some pasta sauce yesterday for my LO who is 11 months.

It's basically carrots, mascarpone cheese, olive oil and tomato puree and some pasta water all blended together. I then put them into 3 small freezable cups and into the freezer.

Question is though, how do I reheat this? How do I let it thaw first, do I put it in fridge or room temp and then heat on hob etc, how long before do I let it thaw?

I always microwaved it from frozen when I did that for DD as a baby.

If you'd prefer to do it in a small pan I still think you could do it straight from frozen.

I don't think it matters really so long as it's piping hot (and then it cools down obviously!). If I remembered, I'd get it out the freezer to thaw a bit. Otherwise, I'd just nuke it in the microwave or put it in a pan over a low heat until it was defrosted.
