11 month old still having milk overnight

DS is 11 months old and still waking up for a bottle overnight. He's eating loads too, but seems to require a large amount of milk still, over 24oz daily (we're transitioning to cow's now). I think he's genuinely hungry because he'll scream until we feed him. Anyone experienced this?

He has tea at nursery around 4.30pm, then a bottle of milk around 6 at home, and a bit more before going to bed at 7. Then usually 11pm he wakes for another bottle. Are we leaving too long between his last solids and bedtime?

Try him with supper. Eating his last meal at 4.30 is early

Dinner at 4.30pm seems very early, even with a bottle at 6! I’d expect my child to have some supper like cereal or toast and maybe still wake for a bottle or that would be a very long time with very little overnight!

But also - every child is different, like adults they’ve different needs and hunger levels. If he needs it and you’re happy giving it then there’s no issue!

I have a 14 month old and she dropped her night feed when she was around 5 months so before I started weaning her. My DD needs a snack as well as milk after nursery. My DD has dinner at Nursery at 4pm the latest so she definitely needs something later. Usually Weetabix and milk.

What's for tea? Is it substantial? I'd ditch the 6 o'clock milk and give something like porridge. Mine both woke in the night to feed until 15 months. Eldest smelt through from 1 1/2 youngest didn't sleep through until she turned 4. She woke for comfort not food.

Thank you all. Good to know it's not that uncommon for 1yos to still require a night feed.

Tea is substantial but I'm going to try giving him something for supper too, beyond milk. That might be the issue.
