Baby almost one, formula to cow’s milk?

Hello,

Just a question as struggling to find answers!
My son turns 1 this month - when it comes to switching from formula to cow’s milk, how did you do it?
LO feeds to sleep, would you give him a bottle of milk to feed him to sleep or keep using formula for this, or do I need to stop feeding him to sleep?

Truth be told I’m very much looking to dropping formula (we have always used pre-made as I have ADHD and the organisation required to mix powder formula has never worked out well for me) and I’m looking forward to saving the literal hundreds of pounds a month on baby milk!

Any advice on how I go about doing this very much appreciated! He’s on three meals a day etc, doesn’t really have a bottle often during the day as he drinks water. He only really has a bottle now when he’s ready for a nap- it’s just a case of if I need to stop the feeding to sleep thing, or if it’s ok to continue that do I switch to cow’s milk or stick with formula. I’d formula is best will obviously stick to that for as long as needed.

any help appreciated! 💕

We started with a small amount of cow's milk mixed with water once a day and then gradually built it up until we completely replaced the formula.

Just start giving cows milk straight away. I take that you have been giving cows milk from 6 months to mix with porrage or cereals.

Try him with 100% cows milk first as it's easiest, he might like it, my DS did. And if he complains try slowly diluting formula with cows milk like a pp said, I had to do this with DD as she didn't like the taste of cows milk at first. I can't remember how long it took but probably just a few days.
