Help ! 11 month old refusing most solids

I have an 11 month old and I am at my wits end with getting him to eat. He was doing well until he went through a rough patch with teething. Four of his top teeth came in at once.

He's never liked purees so we went straight to baby lead weaning at 6 months which was going alright. He was eating small amounts. At 7 months his two bottom teeth came in and he stopped eating for about two weeks then resumed. Just after 9 months his top teeth started coming in, it took just over a month for all four to push out completely.

It's been a month since then and he does not want most solids. He refuses to have his cereal in the mornings as well. Only thing he is kind of eating is avocado but once it gets stuck on his tongue he's forgotten how to move it back and just keeps gagging.

He is currently on formula as I stopped pumping last week. Please help!!! Any tips or suggestions are welcome.

That must be frustrating. Have you tried any pain relief first him?
